Viva Las Vegas!

Woohoo! Trip is planned! I am so excited to have something to look forward to at the end of the month! Some friends and I are headed to Vegas to celebrate one of my  girlfriend's 30th birthday! :)
We will be staying at ENCORE! Pretty swanky from what I hear.  It couldn't work out more perfect because some of our favorite DJs will be "making beats" at the top clubs; which are in our hotel!

My last (and only) adventure out to Vegas was this time 2 years ago and my return is well overdue. Thankfully, Kristin (who I went with last time) will be making this trip with me again!

We made the mistake of going last time as couples...who does that! Everyone knows you can't do Vegas quite right with guys tagging along! Although good to look at, we will be finding new guys in the pools!

Here is the birthday girl herself, Heather!

The pretty lady in black standing next to me, Melissa!

  Kristin (aka KJ)

In the middle is Alison!

And, although we said it's better without boys, these guys will also be joining us!  Brett and Zack are some my closest guy friends (another guy, Paul, will also be in attendance. He lives in Boston and we NEVER get to see him-stay tuned for pictures-TRUST ME!)
They will not interfere what-so-ever! I have booked them a room at MGM so they will be far far away from us.  We will probably only see them for Birthday Shenanigans anyway!
So that's our trip! Only 23 days away! It can't get here soon enough!!
Remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!

When in doubt, just remember...

Well, Hello Blog World! I've been MIA for quite some time now, I know. But I have reason, and I have finally decided to put it all out there in hopes that sharing will give me a sense of relief. Be prepared for some real talk...

"Cheerful Carolina", cute blog title, right! I am a Carolina girl! When I moved away from Charleston, SC I only jumped up to NC, so I was lucky to be staying in the Carolinas. I had a cheerful, fun, outgoing personality; always ready for a good time. So, when I started this blog, well, the title just fit!

Let's be honest, moving is tough and this has, by far, been the hardest transition I have ever made in my life. I left my family, friends, boyfriend (at the time), fun activities, the city I call "home"...and I did it all alone. To move to a city where I knew no one! I left one of the top cities in the country to move to a small town, with NOTHING to do as a young, single professional. I know people do it all the time, but boy have I struggled.

Without going into detail, over the past couple years since my move, the relationsip with my family has turned rocky. The boyfriend-well that failed. Some of my dearest friends have become far too distant and my job causes me more stress each and every day. So lets face it, I have not been happy. Therefore, I have not felt like I deserve to be blogging until the title "Cheerful Carolina".  No need to be fake!

Well, I had a wakeup call and I have decided to dump my negative attitude in the trash and start waking up each morning thankful for every thing and every opportunity I have! I am truly going to make the most out of every opportunity I come across. I have realized that by trying to be encouraging and inspirational to others, I am greatly benefiting myself.

I hope you all know that this post is not a plea to have anyone feel sorry for me or pity me. This is about me getting my feelings out there and having a collection of family, friends, and even complete strangers holding me accountable.

I am excited to be back!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Thoughts on Thursday-WFT!

Why I haven't been posting....

Here's a thought....why won't blogger let up upload any more pictures? When I try to upload a picture it says I have reached a maximum. And I have to PURCHASE more space in order to upload more pictures?

Can anyone help me please!!

Definitely can't wait for the weekend! Special visitor, Cirque du Soleil "Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour", perhaps a vineyard tour and wine tasting, gourmet food tour around the Triangle Area!!

Sorry this is so lame, but I'm in a funk bc I can't upload pics. Definitely at a loss of inspiration with no photos!!

Happy Thursday y'all!!

Get your Groove On! Charleston Style

Have a big event coming up? Perhaps a birthday party, bachelor/bachelorette party, or maybe just a big night out on the town? Well hey, Charleston Groove Bus has your transportation covered!

Some friends on mine recently purchased a bad*ss party bus that is sure to take your night to the next level. You can check out their page on facebook or visit their website to find out more details.

A group of friends and I took the Groove Bus for it's first adventure on New Years Eve and let me tell you, it was a *BLAST*! Poppin bottles, breakin it down, you know how we do!

This bus has a state-of-the-art sound system, awesome lighting, plenty of room for dancing, and just maybe has a stripper dance pole for all you chickas that think you are good enough to entertain a crowd!

They are offering some awesome promotions in connection with bars around town, such as VIP and no covers (not that most of you sezzy ladies can't get in for free anyway).

So, if y'all are interested in booking for your next ladies night, concert, or whatever your reason may be, don't hesitate to email me and be sure to check out their website for contact info! I promise it's a great time!
